The Stock Open Wheel field took to the track on monday night to complete the second feature of the evening. Ferguson in the 2 was looking for the repeat as he took make up feature number one that evening. The green flag dropped seeing action from each end of the field as the cars fired down the front stretch to start lap number one. The "Goalie" Derek Natoli was looking strong earlier in the day then suffered motor problems and was forced to put on the back up to start the fetaure. He ran into some early problems as he slowed and eventually coasted into the pits to bring out the early caution. After Fixing the problem The field restarted and saw the 11 of Nick Graziano looking strong until he faced problems of his own leading to a tire to go flat and was forced to the middle. He made it out of the pits just in front of the leaders to remain on the lead lap and stayed that way until the next caution flag flew for a scuffle on the front stretch involving the 20 of Eastman and the 2 of Ferguson. Ferguson in the 2, was on the wrong end of it and found himself in the front stretch wall. With the green flag turning them lose again, they raced down the front stretch and into turn one with Eastman in the lead but with Natoli and Graziano back on the move to the front. The raced down the backstretch all even, Eastman leading Natoli, Graziano, Ferguson and Ambriati. Nose to tail tight racing saw alot of short track rubbing, and created alot of excitment as it was evident the race could sway to anyones advantage at anygiven time. Natoli was now right up on the back bumper of Eastman and was hungry for a win. As they came off the corner around the half way mark trouble struck as Eastman went around in a spin collecting the 11 of Graziano and folding back tie rods to end his night. After the restart, Natoli had the lead, but it was clear Ferguson wasent content with second. The two raced down into the corner with Natoli holding the advantage but Ferguson breathing down his back. Ferguson with a dominate car throughout much of the night, smoothly slid on by the 5 of Natoli and took the lead. Natoli seemed to keep the gap the same but didnt have the advantage to pull back up on Ferguson. Andrew Ferguson took the Orange Machine number 2 off of corner four for the final time and took the feature victory for the night. Natoli came behind in the Second spot with Eastman third, Ambriati fourth and Graziano finishing Fifth. NOTES:
